For more than 30 years, I’ve dedicated my career to early childhood education, helping young children and their families learn, grow, and thrive. As both an educator and a parent, I understand that raising children can be equal parts joy and chaos. My own experience raising my now-grown son keeps me grounded in what truly matters: perspective, balance, and keeping your family’s priorities in focus.
I’ve had the privilege of supporting thousands of families through my Early Birds program, a comprehensive birth-to-five parent education series I developed and that is utilized across multiple communities. Additionally, I facilitated parenting workshops such as Ready4Routines, which was featured by the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard University.
These experiences have shown me how practical, research-based strategies, combined with clear priorities and a sense of humor, can enhance family support, making family life calmer, more connected, and more joyful.
My background in early childhood education, which includes classroom teaching, parent education, and higher education, enables me to translate developmental research into simple, actionable tools for real family life. With undergraduate and graduate degrees in Early Childhood Education and a doctorate in Educational Leadership, I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to my work, helping parents feel capable, confident, and connected as they raise resilient children while staying true to their family’s priorities (without losing their sense of humor along the way).
